REGAL THEATRE… Acoustic Fitout

Pro Sound are proud to have taken part in the refurbishment of the historic Regal Theatre, at Subiaco Perth Western Australia. The acoustic treatment included a series of Autex QS Panel 25mm thick to the upper lower Auditorium levels featuring the rich vertiface colour "Theatre" never before used in any theatre in Western Australia. The panels were custom cut into the old acoustic panel recess and fit perfectly without any need for trim.

On our initial site inspection and acoustic testing pre-installation we were shocked at the state of the acoustics which included a nasty flutter-echo and access reverberation times across the frequency spectrum. Acoustic design and installation by Shannon de Bie, Robert de Bie and Corey de Bie.

The theatre has just re-opened 30 Jan, 2016 showcasing the touring Chinese ballet show Shen Yun. At early reheasals Shen Yun Musical director noted the theatre acoustics were absolutely spectactular.
